MY STORY

With a background spanning mental health nursing, fitness coaching, and interior design, my career has always centred around people—supporting them, celebrating with them, and standing beside them in times of both happiness and sorrow.

I have spent decades fostering connections, whether through my fitness classes, or through my work creating beautiful and meaningful spaces in people’s homes.

Through it all, I have learned that every person has a story worth telling, and every milestone deserves to be marked in a way that feels authentic and heartfelt.

My approach

My approach is warm, compassionate, and deeply personal. I take the time to listen, to understand, and to craft ceremonies that truly capture the essence of the people they celebrate. Whether it’s a wedding, a vow renewal, a naming ceremony, or a farewell to a loved one, I work with individuals, families, and communities to create ceremonies that honour life’s transitions in a meaningful and memorable way.

Beyond my work as a celebrant, I am deeply committed to giving back. As the founder and Chair of Trustees for the Plymouth Ladies Charity Club, and a former trustee of The Primrose Foundation, supporting others has always been at the heart of what I do. I am humbled to have received a British Empire Medal for my contributions to society, but my greatest rewards come from the connections I build and the lives I touch.

At home, my family is my greatest joy. I am wife to Martin, mum to two grown up sons, and Nanna to three lovely grandchildren. They remind me daily of the importance of love, laughter, and cherishing the moments that truly matter.

My philosophy is simple: kindness, authenticity, and treating every person as the unique individual they are. As your celebrant, I will guide you through life’s important moments with warmth, understanding, and a deep respect for your story.
